So where did all those receivers go? Well, I suppose they just got trashed – not a lot of usable parts anymore, by the mid 1930s.
Not to mention the tubes were maybe already hard to find?
I don't understand why Mr. Zinn bought these. I believe at the time, he was working for Alaska Steamship Company. Maybe the
ships still used these for their longwave receiver? For HF, per some papers I have, I believe ASSCO ships all used the Sargent 11,
another regenerative set.
