[Milsurplus] Unknown Transceiver

To me, that truck BC-9-A appears configured exactly like the photo of the set as shown in the SCR-77-B Instruction Book (Radio Communications Pamphlet 43, April 1925). 

The earlier SCR-77-A used the BC-9 (not -A) that has very significant technical differences, but it uses the same loop type LP-2 as the BC-9-A

I am missing what detail in the truck photo violates the standard set configuration.
