I found this photo in my stock. At first I thought it was mine, but I think it's a graphic
I stole from Ebay. My question, I have never seen a TBX-8 with whiteface meters. No
not ever. The caption on the photo says TBX-8 and the break in switching in position
of power connectors shows that is true. TBX-6 was the old circuit, whiteface meters
and manual switching. TBX-7 is AFAIK is same as -8. So I have to assume caption is
right, this is an -8. So: have you ever seen before a TBX-8 with white meters?
I think the effect is rather fetching. I like it more than the black face* meters, no
implicit bias involved. (* I first wrote "blackface" as one word, but then thought
better.... ). But I suppose the white meters are an 'attractive nuisance' in a combat
zone.
