[Milsurplus] Question CD-1086 p/o GRC-9

Well, the GRC-9 TM 11-263 shows the PE-237 on one side of the Jeep and the GRC-9 on the other.
I thought, no way a 44 inch cable is going fit that. I assume the DY-88 would be in the same position?

Is this true:
CD-1086 for GRC-9  44 inches is for use with GN-58
CD-1086  for GRC-9  84 inches is for vehicle PE or DY supply ?
