As it coincidently happens, I was just now returning from looking for another publication and came across the HRO-5 manual.
I was puzzled by the cover title which listed a half dozen models, some unfamiliar names to me, such as HRO-MRR. No doubt
all quite similar but the varying National designations are confusing. I have also somewhere a past years AWA bulletin with a
very useful article about the HRO-M and HRO-5. I actually thought the -5 was procured later than the mass British accession
of HROs. Maybe today I'll make a cursory search for that magazine.  If we have a handy Y station photo, the HRO meter shape
and control trims are the clue as to what model.
I have an HRO-5TA1, unrepaired, untested, but perfect looking. It arrived with only the GC coils and I separately acquired BS
coils, but I presently am thinking I should sell this and other equipment to get down to a few really rare items I would like to
revive.
