[Milsurplus] FW: What can you tell me about the acorn?

There's a Hallicrafters R44/ARR-4 (VHF airborne search receiver) in my
collection that has a JAN-954, 955, and a couple 956s in it. Apparently
this is a repackaged & militarized Hallicrafters S-36A, and the Navy RBK
is another version of the same which also incorporates the 955 (and 954
& 956).
