In what way(s)? Or is this a subjective opinion? Details, please.

Which receiver was that, Hue?

Well, sorta....

I have used both the HRO-60 and a brand-new BC-779. I really like both, but as Ray says,
the two-dial business was/is a definite disadvantage for the Hammarlund. The two-dialer
almost requires a modern digital frequency readout for any accuracy or even real
re-setability.

HRO, not so much.

I was told "back in the day" by more than one of my Elmers, "If you want a frequency meter,
get a Collins (75A4), if you want to hear them, get a National (HRO-60)."

Of course at that stage of my life, I couldn't have afforded either one.
