[Milsurplus] LEDs for dial light

I ordered some "clear white LEDs" tonite in 2 styles: the "straw hat" style, shorter dome, and then the other, usual more elongated dome.
We shall see which projects better either straight on or via the side. The one I removed from the nightlight is "straw hat" style and there
seemed to be no problems with it projecting light out thru the side.
I did note that it may be worth looking at the specs for candlepower: the ones I ordered were >12000 mcd, while some others in 'white LED'
specd at >9000 mcd.
These cost a whole $.05 - $.10 each. I probably will have some leftovers, like around 140. Maybe I could offer some free, but I am not quite
sure how to put them in an envelope without possible problems caused down the line.
