I have had nothing BUT trouble with those things. I hate them. 

I recently restored a National NC-57 with those things in it, and testing of the 15 or so in 
there revealed totally unacceptable leakage at voltages far below their rated voltage for all 
but one.

I am firmly convinced that if ONE of those pieces of crap are in a receiver ALL should be 
immediately replaced with modern ones.

They are pure garbage.
