It has a built in VFO but can operate from crystals. 

The last 5 which were sold on eBay sold for an average of $373.80 plus shipping. Minimum 
was $270.00, max was $500.00. All those had other "bits" with them.

$225 seems to be a reasonable price for one that is NOS. Other bits can be found.
