A correction:
Richard Quam of Seattle has provided me with some precious information in the form of a couple very old newspaper accounts.
The Santa Elisa form I have, is from Santa Elisa, the 2nd bearing that name, belonging to the Grace Line. This was sold to Alaska Steamship Co.,
Seattle based, and renamed I do not know what, at present. Apparently in the middle 1930s.
The Santa Elisa the 3rd bearing that name, was the one sunk off Tunisia as it straggled from a convoy to Malta.
