here is new test

Had one  since  high school a  present  from  Robertt Boring in Palos  Verdes Ca.

The  big trick  was   to use a pencil eraser against the   tuner knob   to move it ever so slightly when tuning to get  fine  tune!... used   bfo   for  sideband....  yea  kinds  wide  but a neat old  set  and  this is one I  still have  from my youth  and was a gift  from a special person.    I  need  to  dig  it  out  of  display  and need to  recap  the power supply  ... just  wondering what  else I may need to to  so I will ask that here!  what should I  look to encounter?  I would like  to  find a  local Low  freq and BC  band   companion  for this HF  unit someday  local!   Ed Sharpe  KF7RWW
