Had one  since  high school a  present  from  t  Boring in Palos  Verdes Ca.

trick  was   to use a pencil eraser against the   tuner knob   to move it ever so slightly when tuning to get  fine  tune!... used   bfo   for  sideband....  yea  kinds  wide  but a neat old  set  and  this is one I  still have  from my youth  and was a gift  from a special person.    need to  recap  the power supply  ... just  wondering what  else I may need to to  so I will ask that here!  what should I  look to encounter?  I would like  to  find a  local Low  freq and BC  band   companion  for

If you're talking abt the HF receiver 46077 i think it is, you'll have your choice of broad or very broad selectivity, and the tuning rate on the higher bands is not wonderful. But the bandsare mostly less crowded now. I last used one years ago for SWL and i found it lacking for DXing because of these points.-Hue
