[Milsurplus] RBM receiver Set

I have an RBM receiver pair in the green transport case.  Unfortunately,

they were stored outside in the Houston, Texas burning sun for decades.

While the case seal kept the weather off the radios, the case acted as an

oven.  All the plastic parts of the tuning dials are hopelessly destroyed.

It’s a darn pity, because also have the AC and DC supplies, the control 

junction box and all the serial numbers match.  Missing the legs, of course

and for some strange reason, someone took out the rails the receivers

mount on.  Is there any hope of ever finding parts radios with the tuning dial

bits intact?  

 

Thinking about moving this project on to someone with

more sand left in his hour glass.  Sorry won’t try to ship it, but I could

be talked into transporting it somewhere around NE Texas.
