[Milsurplus] " M-1 " on BC-453 ?

It was a universal mod for HF radios that simply placed a drain resistor 
across the antenna input, intended to reduce the voltage built up by 
static electricity on the antenna.  There was a Signal Corps bulletin 
issued for the mod, but I can't find it at the moment.  I'm sure others 
will be happy to interject with the gory details.
