[Milsurplus] GO series transmitters ?

A Navy text, undated but possibly 1941, describes the GO-3 as the "most widely used transmitter in patrol planes."  The text also describes the GO-9 transmitter and GP-5.
So, what happened to the GO-4, 5, 6, 7, and -8 ?
