I'm now the owner of one of these, a rather compact
2 channel SSB transceiver. Very clean inside and out,
no signs of damage or modifications. Even the nicads
show signs of life.
I've doped out the frequency management scheme. At some
point in the radios past, a frequency was changed, but
the old crystal, and the packing slip from ICM was stored
inside the radio, so it wasn't to hard to figure that
out. Channel one is a 4MC frequency, and I'm pretty sure
that channel two is around 5.2Mc.
So, is there a manual or other service information out
there for this radio? I gather that this is the same as
a CAI 32, but other than some basic information,
searches have drawn a blank.
Short of a manual, I'll be reverse engineering the set
to dope it out. First up is figuring out the power supply
setup.
Thanks in advance.
