I bought the DeLuxe model at $18. It is quite small. As you know, China is very crowded. 
YES, I would indeed like to see your docs on your project meter. I can at least gather parts.
( Actually, I suspect I already have all the parts ! )

I'd toss that Chinese thing and believe the dip-meter.

Although I know you are probably past the time when you want to build another piece of test equipment, some time ago, I gathered up all the info I could find on crystal testers and settled on a really good one to build. I even gathered most of the parts, but have not yet started on it.
