That is a great pity.  I also recall drooling over his surplus material ads in the early computer mags such as Byte.

Robert Tuck, Mr. Godbout's grandson, said that Mr. Godbout had stayed behind as his wife and relatives fled, probably to save his three cats….Mr. Tuck said through tears, 'He was listening to the radio report and thought he had a little more time.'
