Railway Express was the best for me. Because of my family situation, I
had to sneak stuff into the house as much as possible. Mail was the
worst because it would ALWAYS arrive on the day my mother was not at
work, and I would face the ninth degree from her. Railway Express was
fairly predictable as far as transit times, and was willing to wait for
me to call them to see if something had arrived. I could then arrange
some way to go pick it up. They also discounted the price if you picked
it up instead of having it delivered to your address. I was told REA was
absorbed by UPS. I got a lot of stuff that way with "Cut grass-Pump
Gas-Throw papers" money.
