[Milsurplus] Fwd: Seen at Fair Radio this AM

I have a SCR 178 chest with radios that has a large Railway Express label pasted on it as well as what’s left of the pasted on address label.
I can remember the  REA freight building here in town by the rail yard. They had quite a few trucks there to for delivery’s and pickups…all gone now…including the rail yard.

I haven't scaled up shipping costs from those days, but it seems to me, just looking at the cost, where it is stated, seems quite
reasonable, even given the inflation scaling. So you could actually save money up from your paper route, and then order that
monstrosity new in its wood crate, and have Railway Express ship the thing for not more money than the item itself cost.
