Who is paying those prices? 
I would surmise the era of 'the surplus store' is over. 
Actually, seems to me that prices reached their zenith a few years back, and - except for some items that are really rare, 
recognized widely as rarities, AND desired - prices are otherwise in decline. Face it, demand is not keeping up with the
resupply.
