[Milsurplus] More thoughts on PAR 30-A

Still puzzling ( obsessing ) over this BC-654 remanufacture. I surmise the roller coil in lower right corner has been replaced with a
channel selector. I thought this odd because the oscillator and low level RF are not near this area in the BC-654, but this after all
is a remanufacture, so the circuit could have been moved around. I also was puzzled how PAR could advertise as "3 Band Receiver"
when there's no bandswitch. The receiver controls are as original, only tuning ( just to left of nameplate ) spinner knob, and volume,
near left call, right above the dividing line between trans below and receiver above. I noticed also that the frequency and channel
logging chart in the middle of the transmitter, the holder looks like that from the front of the BC-191/ 375 tuning units. I think the
only way PAR could effect a "3 band receiver" with these controls is by a kind of game, maybe modifying the receiver to cover
1800 - 4000 kHz. -Hue
