Hi,
I've had success putting the tip of a very hot soldering iron on the
set screw. Use something like a Weller soldering gun
that gets very hot.
Good luck,

folks
i am trying to lube the bearings of the transmitter dynamotor. the
one end went fine. however i am trying to remove the fan at the other
end. 2 allen set screws tighten against the shaft i was able to
loosen one however the second one i could not loosen so it looks like
i will need to drill it out. do i need a little gear puller to remove
the fan? once that gets pulled off inassume i can remove the 2
screws that hold the cover plate exposing the bearing?
any advice would be appreciated
thanks jeff kg2bz
