Hi Gang!
Definitely NOT a travelling wave tube. This is a small planar triode cavity amplifier, many were made by RFD in Florida in the 50's & 60's, probably at 1 GHz or so for TACAN/DME stuff, I didnt look closely but usually on one tube per assembly for a variety of reasons. Tube type may be a GE 7077 or YF-12. OK thingy but nothing particularly exotic about it. Connector looked like SMC types, not high freq or high power 1 GHz about rignt. 6.3 V fil and 150V plate or so. Limit plate current with cathode R if not installed. Ground grid from the grid ring on tube.
Regards,
Jeff Kruth

Here's an oddball tube. "Input" on one end,
"Output" on the other, with tube element
connections between. Anyone familiar? Know how
to hook it up?
