Ouch! Not the happy ending you'd hope for, I'm sure. Maybe the 'cup half
full' side is that it didn't land on someone's hood or worse, a bicyclist.

Meissner, by chance? Fits the description, especially the 'very heavy'
part.

Hopefully there's a happy ending to salvage in it somewhere.
