[Milsurplus] Throat mics.

I found a throat mic in my stash so I again have one to eventually try out.
I was watching a time-waster video today, YouTube on "ball turret gunners" and one scene showed a crew member speaking to other
crew, and when he spoke, he pushed the throat mic tighter against his neck.
Somewhere not too distantly I'd heard an example of throat mic audio. Don't recall if it was U.S. groundpounder or tanker, or maybe
even German tank crew. German armored vehicles employed ONLY throat mics. Japanese seemed to use these extensively also, even
with the walkie-talkie type radios ( 94-6 ) and small field radios ( 94-5 ).
Lately, only slightly coincindently, I'd been thinking about some kind of 'bone-conduction' "headphone" for my audio while walking.
The ambient noise, like on the beach when it's around 20 mph, is strong enough that I have to turn up the audio enough that I worry
about hearing damage. ( I think the high freqs are already gone. )
