Well its hard to understand for the average "Ground Pounder" whats
its like flying an unpressurized aircraft with round engines with many
open windows etc. Lots of noise and before noise canceling techniques
were developed. Air Crews got used to each other and the commands, a lot
of the "crew chatter" used standard terminology which helped. Throat
mics were a band aid but they worked. A lot of stupid ideas won the war.
