Sitting here in Virginia watching the hurricane (way off shore) whip up things. It’s blowing over
a bunch of concrete WWII ships now acting as breakwaters. A couple of them lived their life as
“Army training ships” in the south pacific. One would guess that they were outfitted with a full
complement of shipboard radio gear. One would also guess that it all came in through Signal
Corps channels. Yes, that’s all in the “wild guess” category ….
