Jack, I have been so tempted to take this on. I read somewhere an article on accomplishing this, and copied it, but I think it resides on a dead
computer around here. I have not looked at the schematic in some time, but as I recall, there's no harmonic suppression. ( So what else is new ? )
But I like the bulk of the thing, and the looks.
I also have thought about an easy fix to stabilize the BC-222/ 322 set on transmit, ditto the TBY. But I flip-flop. I know there is a ready market
among militaria collectors for all three of these radios, and probably my most rational action would be to just focus on downsizing and keep
to the sets that really light my filaments [ AND function ] are usable on a more frequent basis, not just demonstration.
The TBY, for a widely used radio, has accessory parts that are remarkably difficult to find, and I don't know quite why.

>But in the same vein, has anyone ever successfully converted a BC-1000 to 6 meters?  Not that I'd do it,  don't even own one, just curious.
