Hue - remember too  a nearby  lightning strike  would   take out a fixed 
detector...  it will also whack  the sensitive spot  on  a  manually 
adjustable detector... but there are always a  few  more spots  you can  find... so  
in a way... the   manual diddled one  has  the best chance of operating no
