I did find the ATR-11 schematic and the connector does use on the connector wiring, letters instead of numbers. Letters from A to Z – but not every letter
is used !
Anyway I do not have any use for the 2 connectors I described. They are available free, Mike if you can use them; if not, anyone else with such connectored
equipment; if not, they'll go to the Houston Signal Depot.

I think Robert nailed it. With a right angle backshell, it's also labeled as a PL-Q268 and used on the SCR-618-A height finding radar. I have only two pieces of equipment that use it - the AN/APA-17 direction finder and the AN/APR-9 extended system.

As the contacts are lettered and not numbered, it can't be a Cannon K-Series. Assuming that it's a straight cable connector, that the AN 3057 cable clamp is installed (to make up that length), that the coupling threads are fine V-form, and that the contacts M and P are larger than the others, my guess would be that the nomenclature is AN 3106-28-2S. If the back shell is one-piece screw-on with fine threads, the newer number would be MS 3106A-28-2S. And the Amphenol number would be 97-3106A-28-2S. I have a couple of them but nothing in my database as to what they fit. If you ever find your ATR-11 manual, you can check its parts list for the mating chassis male, which might be AN 3102-28-2P.

I may have asked about this in the past, but found 2 more connectors. Below is my representation of it.

I wondered if this fits my ATR-11, but….cannot find the schematic right now. Diameter of insert is 1-3/8 inch,

34mm. The connectors have black cloth covered wire bundle, but only 8 wires; others are taped off or folded

back. No number on connector shell. Female connector. This is a good sized connector; from insert surface to

exit end, 3-1/16 inch.

thanks-
