[Milsurplus] Batteries for dynamotor use ?

What types of batteries are you guys using to power your dynamotors? I have a nice set of Power-Sonic 210AH 12VDC AGM. But sadly, they are nearing the end of their life expectancy (10 yrs)...  and cost a small fortune to replace.
I only have one dynamotor, for my ATD. Last I remember, I think it was about 44 amps in-rush at start up. Don't remember what the key down current draw is. 
Best to just buy some cheap and dirty automotive batteries and replace them every few years?
