[Milsurplus] WW2 Radio Operators Information File

I have one of these books, but not the patch. The survival rate of
these is quite low even though they were once easy to find. In my own
experiences with my father and other WW2 veteran relatives, I was told
there were constant social pressures in the late 40s to intensely and
exclusively devote time and attention to playing the role of parents and
spouses. No time was permitted for remembering past exploits and skills.
Even worse would be for a woman who had built the radios to get hold of
the manuals, and God forbid- LEARN something! Most of the people who
had these manuals along with other souveniers like watches, clocks,
bomber jackets and so on kept them for a few years after the war and
then sort of "lost" them.
