That surprises me. Altho I suppose, when you have to look at these hour after hour, day after day, you sometimes lose focus.
If it had been manufactured in China, I would not be surprised.
It would be interesting to learn, altho impossible now, how much of the Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe's equipment and munitions
failed due to sabotage.

I found a factory-made "no solder" joint in the HFO section of the coil box of a 1.5 to 3.0 MHz
AN/ARC-5 receiver. It had been painted with that red paint which showed that it had been inspected and found OK at the factory.
A 70+ year old factory defect.
By the time I got it, the HFO was dead and it didn't take too much effort to find and fix it.
