At the recent MRCG Meet here at Camp San Luis Obispo Chuck N7UVZ had brought along these odd shorten generator legs, which he generously gave me.
I've never seen a photo of this type of a set up for US military hand crank generator without a seat...except the TBX hand crank generator.
The two legs are cut down LG-3B's and the single rear that would normally have the seat attachment just has this short zinc chromate painted leg.
The legs look to have been made 'professionally' and the zinc chromate painted one has no identification on it.
The pic I've included shows the set up with a GN-45 and kneeling down can crank it ok.
Anyone ever seen a set up like this before??
Tnx
Paul
