[Milsurplus] AN/ALQ-91 Antenna

I picked up a blade antenna. It is labeled "ANTENNA, VHF P/O AN/ALQ-91".

I searched and found that this is an antenna for a IFF Interrogator and used to lock onto enemy aircraft. It was used on the F4-J.

I swept it with my SARK-110 and is has a low SWR around 170Mhz.

Does anyone have and idea what frequency service that was searching for?  I assume they were used against Soviet systems. Was this VHF band used for communications or radar?


Now to find an F4 to mount it on.
