[Milsurplus] Two Desireable "ARC-5" Items Offered.

There seems to have been some local discretion for FCC law enforcers to seize equipment or just issue a cease and desist order.
In H.S. some friends had a station on 880 kHz, KEHR “Edmonds Heights Radio”. This would be around 1964. I saw their transmitter
and it appeared to be a BC-375 TU with 2 6V6 tubes built into it. I do not know whether it was a rewired LF TU or one of the rare
BC-band TUs they maybe found at a surplus store. Their second harmonic was a strong as the fundamental, and that got them
some unwanted ham attention and a deal they couldn’t refuse.
Another transmitter i saw in this specialized application was the AN/TRC-1, which does wideband FM without conversion.
That was in the 1980s. I briefly owned one of these, HAD to take it as part of another deal, or deal would be off. Man, that was
a heavy, useless beast.
