I defer to this description.
If I had to guess when I had one it was in HS in 1964... and
probably last looked at one in 1965 or 1966 so my memory is a BIT foggy.

I do remember a relay keying the transmitter... so I think CW.

Yes, as I remember it was a chart which required use of a couple
of the telemetered values to get the primary ones.
