The site photos showed they were using the standard code tape players. I suppose the use of radios was to inject some noise into
the circuit and maybe they had multiple channels going at the same time.
Ken, I like your idea. I'd put it on the 12-something MHz experimental freq, or maybe on something like 1700 kHz under Part 15,
or the low end of the CB band, also Part 15.
