We are really lucky our RU-18 looks beautiful the only flaw is a
little ding in the black dial for tuning.. I would love to find a
replacement for that. If anyone has any NOS dial faces let us know please.
Does anyone have extra power connectors for the ru-18? Although this is
going in a glassed in display I have the urge... the urge to power it up!

There was a beautiful RU receiver with one coil at Sussex yesterday, also
had the shock mount. Allegedly NOS and looked the part. I asked and they
wanted $100.00 for it and it was sold later in the afternoon, don’t know what
the final price was. Also saw several command set transmitters in the $20
price range and a friend of mine bought a very clean BC-342 for $75 with a
think is a LS-5 speaker. Saw an ART-13 and a FRR-59 but did not ask prices.
There was a PRC-74 there for like $700 with all the accessories along with
several R-390 receivers in the $500 to $800 price range.

Yes. But they both use the same receiver (CW-46048D). The only
difference between a receiver marked for RU-18 and one marked for RU-19 is the
nameplate. The electrical differences are the dynamotor and the junction box.

Is the RU 18 the same as the RU-19 except 18 is 12-14 volts and the
19 is 24v.....
