[Milsurplus] Help

If that battery is made up from 10 1.34 V cells, those were mercury
reference cells. This day and age I would be shocked if you could buy one.
Since that is power for the ohmmeter section, I would agree the recommended
9v battery and C cell should be close enough.

According to: http://www.prc68.com/I/TS183.shtml, the BA-1085 is a 13.4 volt
battery with a tap at 1.34 volts. The tester data says that the minimum
terminal voltages are 9 and 1 volts respectively. Seems to me a C cell and
a 9 volt battery should make a decent substitute and would be much cheaper!

Who on the forum was making and selling battery adapters? I wonder if he
ever made one for the BA-1085/U battery for the PSM-6 Multimeter? I have one
that I would like to get working and need a battery as I can't find any
BA-1085/U batteries.
