According to: http://www.prc68.com/I/TS183.shtml, the BA-1085 is a 13.4 volt battery with a tap at 1.34 volts. The tester data says that the minimum terminal voltages are 9 and 1 volts respectively. Seems to me a C cell and a 9 volt battery should make a decent substitute and would be much cheaper!Jim

I wonder if he ever made one for the BA-1085/U battery for the PSM-6 Multimeter? I have one that I would like to get working and need a battery as I can’t find any BA-1085/U batteries. Floyd
