Not a bad set, have no love for all that command set stuff but if I were going to build up something that would be a good start. Too bad the transmitters are useless. Also the BX or MC covering over the control cables, what's with that? So does this mean the days of huge stupid money for NIB command sets is over?

To give some idea how "the mighty have fallen," even on Ebay, here's a near-complete SCR-274N down in Port Arthur, Texas.  It went begging at $350.
It's still going begging at $200.  
Yes; it's a "mixed station," but that's still way lower  than one might expect.
Wasn't so long ago, you could have sold a station like this for many times that.  Now, I think everyone that seriously wants to build one (vs. those who just talk for years), has one.
