To give some idea how "the mighty have fallen," even
on Ebay, here's a near-complete SCR-274N down 
in Port Arthur, Texas.  It went begging at $350.
It's still going begging at $200.  
Yes; it's a "mixed station," but that's still way lower
 than one might expect.
Wasn't so long ago, you could have sold a station 
like this for many times that.  Now, I think everyone 
that seriously wants to build one (vs. those who just
talk for years), has one.
