What I find most interesting about this rig in the little information I have is this: "They are of
compact construction, intended for limited space."
Compared with other Navy transmitters, the TCM-2 is tiny.
Neat rig. VFO controled, covering 2.0 through 18.1 MHz, has more knobs, dials, and meters
per square inch of panel space than any other military transmitter I know of.
Good for 40 wpm CW too, and includes a built-in antenna change-over relay.
I guess I'm going to have to find a place for it alongside my TCK-4.
Since this particular transmitter was given to our local club by the son of the SK, I would like
to get some idea of what I should pay for it. Anyone have an idea?
