But the rectangular vent and hanger bracket for 
the pipe are definitely ship items.  The operator appears to be USMC
and could be a part of the Captain's 
contingent.  Entertainment via off air, or 
records.  The AC receptacles have cover plates
that don't reveal the depth of what may be "handy 
boxes" beneath, which the "straight on" photograph does not reveal.
