Most probably referring to Radio Research Instruments in Waterbury, a huge
warehouse and seller of Mil surplus for many years.  Now cleaned out and
scrapped several years ago.

These have been listed previously on eBay, evidently no takers.   In a 
discussion on another forum the following was posted by WA3VJB:

"TimTron on 3885 Monday night told me these FRT24s were part of a
going-out-of-business sale by Radio Associates (?) a Connecticut company
that used to be a reseller of govt surplus transmitters.
