[Milsurplus] RAK on HF

I plumb forgot that the RAL tunes 15m. How does it function there; is it actually practically usable ?
I had an RAL in operation only for a couple years - mostly used it to try to copy CW WX from CKN.

I saw this ad in a way back Radio News magazine that showed brand-new RAKs. I always wondered
why only new RAKs surplused  ( Spellcheck don't like this word ) and not RALs ?
