[Milsurplus] [ARC5] Differences between groups

At one point (long ago) there were a *lot* of radio specific lists.
There was also a need for an “umbrella” list to cover the hobby
in general. Most of the radio specific lists have pretty much died
out over the years. Those that remain have experienced a bit
of “scope creep” in terms of the gear that is now on topic. That
helps keep traffic up and the specific list alive today. It works,
there is no big central authority deciding who is who and what is
what. Everybody just rumbles along doing their thing …
